DUMBING OF SOCIETY II

     Well, I just read on the Yahoo News that there are 6 states now that are banning the hanging of clothes out to dry.  HOW STUPID CAN THEY BE!!!!!  That is one of the BEST things that people can do to help the environment.  People have been hanging out clothes for hundreds of years if not thousands.  It was the way of life before they invented the dryers.  The clothes come in smelling so fresh the natural way without having to use dryer sheets (chemicals) to help dry the clothes in the dryer.  I really get ticked off when the “preppy” people complain because something doesn’t look nice.  Hanging clothes is functional and SAVES on electricity.  What are these people thinking?

     Even the preppy people must believe in cartoons.  My husband and I were in a restaurant when someone next to us actually said “I thought Roosters only crowed in the morning”.  My husband was ready to say to them “ Ducks don’t wear sailor suits and chipmunks don’t drive cars, you watch too much TV.  But my look, stopped him.   I really can’t believe how stupid some people are.  Every night when my husband comes home from work, he tells me of a stupid person he saw on the way to work or on his way home.  So many people run the red lights or stop signs; the other night the Rourke Bridge in Lowell was blocked off because of an accident, well there was a police cruiser blocking off the way across the bridge and someone actually tried to go across.  The police officer was standing by his cruiser and saw this person creeping up towards him, the officer was shaking his head and motioning for them to turn around and still the person kept coming towards him.  The officer put up his hands for them to stop, then had to walk up to them and explain that they couldn’t go across the bridge.  Most normal people just would have gone the other way.  I’m kind of glad that I have a short time left on this planet.  I’m really disgusted with the “rules & laws” that are made.  Who the hell are the immigrants telling us what we can or cannot do to celebrate “our” Holidays which we’ve celebrated for hundreds of years.  They come to OUR Country and now we have to stop?  If you don’t like it LEAVE.
